Grateful for this week in Nashville.

It’s one of the few times each year I get to see teammates from Texas and across our Eastern Division—people who have supported and encouraged me more than they know, especially after July 4.

I was honored to be named MVP for my team and recognized in the top 10 for our division.

What means even more is that much of that recognition was tied to 2025—a year that didn’t exactly go as planned.

After the flood, there were moments I didn’t know how I’d keep going. But this work, this community, and the people I serve gave me purpose when I needed it most.

Just really thankful tonight. ❤️

Did you know…

AirMedCare Network consists of nearly 400 aircraft across more than 320 bases in 38 states?

On average, a patient is flown every 4 minutes within our network.

That means when a call comes in — day or night — it’s not just one helicopter responding, it’s an entire network ready at a moment’s notice.

Scenes like this are happening every night across the country.

Our Kerrville base helps serve Kerr, Gillespie, Bandera, Real, and Mason Counties. When one aircraft is already on a mission, crews from nearby Air Evac Lifeteam bases may respond from Uvalde, Brownwood, Marble Falls or even San Antonio.

That’s the strength of being part of a large national network — help is often already in the air when seconds matter.

Today was one of those Hill Country days that reminds me why I love this work.

We spent time visiting nursing home residents and bringing a little ranch life with us — Caspy, Oreo, Smalls and of course FiFi were all a big hit. There were lots of smiles, hugs and great conversations.

Earlier a quick stop by the Air Evac Lifeteam 48 - Kerrville, TX base - caught our new helicopter outside the hangar, ready to serve our community.

Thank you to Center Point Volunteer Fire Department for the visit and for everything you do to serve our community.

And like so many days out here, it ended with another beautiful Hill Country sunset.

At the end of the day, it’s really about community.
