Audrey Lewis, MDS Nurse Case Manager, is our employee of the month at Oak Ridge Manor. She is a long tenured staff member who has seen many changes in LTC throughout her career. One of the biggest just happened recently with a new PDPM, Patient Driven Payment Model, for Long-term care facilities in Texas. It took many weeks to prepare for this transition and then she spent hours and hours and long days getting all the assessments completed that had to happen on 9/1. She has always been a team player and helping where needed. She definitely stepped up and knocked this one out of the park. The teamwork and collaboration has been amazing between the entire IDT team. Thank you Audrey for all you do! YOUR dedication is very much appreciated!!

Ms. Donna Boswell came to Oak Ridge Manor after a brief hospitalization. She required assistance with balance and safety and was at high risk for falls. She worked hard on restoring her balance and coordination daily with occupational and physical therapy. Her goal was to regain her independence with self-care, dressing, transfers, and ambulation. She was able to return to the community independently with only the support of a cane. She was excited and we are so proud of her accomplishments!!

We were excited to have our new partners Vellum Health, come and provide our first clinic which offers in-house hydration and vitamin IV therapy to our patients, enhancing their well-being, quality of life, and preventing hospital readmissions. It was a great success with many residents taking advantage of this new partnership. We will be able to provide the clinic weekly so we are thrilled to see the profound impact it will have on our elderly population. We appreciate them for providing this service and look forward to a wonderful partnership. Thank you Vellum!!

Mr. Steven Daniels came to Oak Ridge Manor after an injury to his leg for rehabilitation following surgery. He arrived having lots of pain and difficulty with mobility. He required moderate assistance with ADLs and gait secondary to injury/surgery. He worked daily with occupational and physical therapy to improve his independence and return to independent living in the community. We would like to thank Mr. Daniels for his hard work and dedication with his rehabilitation at Oak Ridge Manor and entrusting us with his care.
