Gentiva Hospice of Brownwood has been honored with the 2025 MatrixCare Hospice CAHPS Honors ELITE award, a prestigious distinction that celebrates an unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional, compassionate end-of-life care. This prestigious award recognizes agencies that continuously go above and beyond in providing high-quality care for patients and compassionate caregiver experiences. It acknowledges the highest performing agencies by analyzing the performance of the Hospice Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) survey satisfaction in quality measures. To be considered for this award, the hospice agency must have scored above the MatrixCare national performance score on 100% of the evaluated questions. The scores are then compared on a question-by-question basis to a national performance score calculated from all partnering hospices contained in the MatrixCare hospice CAHPS database.

“This recognition highlights the exceptional hospice care we provide and would not be possible without our remarkable caregivers, who consistently put our patients first in all they do,” said Jacqueline Lopez–Devine, Chief Clinical Officer.“ It reflects the compassion, skill, and dedication of our team in supporting patients and families during life‘s most challenging moments.
