Did you know that about 1.1 million people in the United States are living with Parkinson's disease (PD)? 🌷

🧠 This progressive brain disorder is perhaps most well known for causing tremors, but other symptoms include loss of vocal volume, sleep disruptions, stiffness, and balance issues, among others.

Thankfully, there are ways to improve Parkinson's symptoms! 😀 Our therapy team offers rehabilitation services to help improve mobility, range of motion, function, and speech for those living with PD. Call us to see how we can support you or your loved one.

🐣 One of our favorite days of the year is when the local kindergarten classes come and hunt eggs on our front lawn! 🥰

Our patients help stuff the eggs with candy in the days leading up to the event then enjoy the rush of energy felt as the kids race about gathering all the goodies in record-breaking time! 😂 We had patients, staff and visitors watching the event from our front porch, windows and sidewalks. Thank you, Hollow Rock-Bruceton Special School District for coming to see us each year! 🫶

It looks like someone practicing how to button a shirt again. 👔 Rebuilding the strength and dexterity to hold a coffee cup. ☕ Rehearsing the motions to prepare a simple meal and learning to use a reacher to safely pick things up without bending 🫳.
