This past Monday, we began weekly Grief Support Group meetings run by Baptist Memorial Home Care & Hospice. 🙏 These meetings will take place every Monday for 6 weeks in the main dining room here at Life Care Center of Bruceton-Hollow Rock.

Congratulations to our July Whatever It Takes Champion: Stephanie Long, OT! 🎉

Stephanie was nominated for her daily kindness and attentiveness. Her coworkers say she is gentle and kind with every resident she encounters, not just those on her caseload. She is always resident-oriented when it comes to providing care.

Recently, a resident complimented Stephanie for her assistance with getting a shower. 🚿 The resident said Stephanie took the time to make sure the temperature was "just right." She also stated that Stephanie did not rush her, giving her ample time to get dressed at her own pace. The resident was so appreciative for Stephanie's attentiveness.

Thank you, Stephanie, for doing Whatever It Takes every day! Stephanie was presented her award by Heather Oakley, Regional Rehab Director, at our monthly in-service meeting.

We recently held a Forever Fabulous Celebration and Pageant! Family, friends, and employees joined in the fun to assist the residents in getting ready and escorting them through the pageant walk.

We want to thank Kylee French for organizing the event, and our judges/volunteers for assisting. Our winners included: Queen Marie Snider, 1st runner up Teresa Davis, 2nd runner up Dorothy Barnhart, 3rd runner up Patricia Hamilton, and 4th runner up Mary Loveall.

Other awards were Best Hair to Rima Austin, Best Smile to Mary Burcham, Best Dressed to Evelyn Hall, Best Model to Deborah Olds, and Best Personality to Patricia Hamilton.
