Lowcountry Medical Linens is a family owned an operated business that is a Division of Brunson Laundry and has been in the medical and hotel linen business since 1946. Lowcountry Medical Linens is a full service linen supply providing everything from sheets to scrubs, to patient gowns, and everything in between.
Lowcountry Medical Linens is proud to be preferred provider for linen service for University Health Link in Augusta and Memorial Health University Physicians in Savannah. We feel that this says a a lot about our commitment to quality and service.
Lowcountry Medical Linens can help you by keeping your inventory at a level you choose, plus an extra 20% that you don't pay for unless you use it. That means you will never run short on clean linen. Since you aren't locked into a contract with a fixed par level, you can adjust your inventory as needed. We have a dedicated customer service person that checks inventory par levels for accuracy of your facility at a minimum of every 6 months, or as needed.
Lowcountry Medical Linens provides reusable bags ( no plastic bags to purchase and go to the landfill) and containers for your soiled linens. They are sanitized after every use. Our bags and carts have pockets on them where the route service person will insert a card that has a bar code and name of the facility where the soiled linen came from. We count the soiled linen when we return to our facility, and return that same amount at the next delivery. These counts are shown on your delivery invoices each week so you can keep track of your usage, and whether or not you need to increase/decrease your inventory. We install RFID microchips in all of our scrubs so that we can insure 100% accuracy from pick up to delivery. We also track usage of every scrub piece and generate a history of its use. We don't just supply you with linen, we help you manage your linen usage and your cost.
We open and inspect every item on both sides to be sure it is in good condition with no holes or stains. We poly wrap every package to insure it stays clean and sanitized. We take every precaution to make sure the sanitary condition of your linen is not compromised at any time. Everything is temperature and chemically sanitized to meet or exceed all state and federal safety standards. We have an Exposure Control Plan to insure and maintain compliance with OSHA Standards We also strictly follow the HLAC guidelines for sanitation.
