✨ Meet Our New Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner – Heather! ✨

We’re excited to welcome Heather to our practice! Heather brings over 10 years of experience in mental health and substance abuse treatment, with a background spanning both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Heather also holds a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) degree. While she does not routinely manage primary care concerns, this training allows her to take a more holistic, whole-body approach to psychiatric care—considering how physical and mental health intersect to support overall well-being.

Outside of work, Heather enjoys cheering on her family—watching her husband race dirt bikes, her daughter shine in cheer, and her son play the drums. 🏍️📣🥁

Please join us in giving Heather a warm welcome! 💙 She will be accepting new patients starting 1/2/2026.

📣Pycnogenol (pine bark extract) was shown to significantly reduce inattention and hyperactivity-impulsivity on the SNAP-IV scale, improve performance on attention tests, and boost antioxidant markers. It also helped normalize catecholamine levels and lower oxidative stress.
📣Resveratrol, when used alongside methylphenidate, improved ADHD symptoms based on parent ratings in an 8-week study, with tolerability similar to placebo.
