All of what she said!

The news is hard.

So many things are hard.

There’s so much that feels out of our control right now.

But there are some things within our control:

❤️ how we show up with empathy
❤️ how we help others
❤️ how we include people to make sure everyone feels seen and knows they matter
❤️ how we show kindness and caring
❤️ how we practice compassion

We can’t fix everything on our own, but we can work together to build better communities of caring on all kinds of scales.

Be the change.
Be the one who turns around, reaches back, and says, “I got you.”
Be the one who is brave enough to care.

So dismissive. Sometimes it helps to see other people’s struggles that are worse than yours, but when people need their pain validated, this is a very dismissive statement.

Some people really need to hear this today. 🫶
