This will be one of the hardest things to post. I don't know how to begin to express the amount of thanks and gratitude I have for each of you. You are what made Kelly Grace Bodywork what it was. And I will be forever grateful that I had a chance to work with you.

Due to the extent of injury, I have to "retire" from massage. Those of you who know me, know that I truly loved the work. I will miss sharing your lives with you and hearing your stories.

Just like you, this has come as a shock to me as well. I was not prepared for this news. But I physically can no longer massage. As of 12/1 the business will be closed. I understand that there are a few loose ends to be tied and I will reach out accordingly.

If you have questions, concerns, or need anything please reach out. Again, thank you for your support and kindness. Best wishes to you all in the future.

Good afternoon, as many of you know I injured my neck a couple of weeks back. I have been doing all the things I know to do and I have exhausted all avenues that will allow me to continue to massage. Unfortunately, the treatments have been unsuccessful and my condition has become completely debilitating.

Under the advice of my doctor, it is with sadness that I have decided to take an extended leave pending surgery. This will be effective immediately. My neck has to start to heal and at this point it is getting worse. As this is ever evolving I will keep you updated.

All appointments through the months of October and November have been cancelled. I will update you again as soon as I have more information. If you have appointments scheduled in December and beyond, they have not changed.

Making this decision was one of the most difficult for me. As you know I love my job and my clients. But I have to take care of myself in order to take care of you. I am not sure of a return date as of now. It all depends on what comes next medically. I thank you for your understanding in this matter. If anyone would like a referral to another therapist I completely understand. I will be happy to help you find the best therapist that will be suited for your needs.

I promise you I will return stronger and better. Again, this has been an incredibly difficult decision to make. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this time.

For those who are wondering......play stupid games get stupid prizes......LOL PSA Don't move heavy things by yourself.

Dislocated ribs? I'll take two! Collarbone out? I'll take one of those. 2 trips to the chiropractor? ✅, 4 sleepless nights? Over it. 2 💉 in the butt from Larisa Barnes? Heavenly. Although at the time I thought Larisa Barnes was trying to win a dart throwing contest! 😆
I am FINALLY feeling better and on the mend. Thank you to Larisa Barnes, Jourdain Davis Watson, and all the staff at the ER. When you massage most of the ER staff they work hard to heal you so you can get back to healing them. ❤
Thank you for everyone who has checked on me. Your sweet messages and even your chastising for being stubborn was much appreciated. It was a reminded that God has blessed me with so many angels I call friends. Lesson learned. If it is heavier than a sheet of paper Angela won't be moving or lifting it. I am looking forward to getting off the couch and getting back to my life. I could not ask to be surrounded by better people. ❤
