Seven day challenge: something I’ve presented to a few clients and just started doing myself. How about you?

Some people have pointed out that the term “social distancing” is a misnomer, that what we ought to do is personal/spacial distancing and social connecting. Now more than ever, we need to be reaching out, hence this challenge: go through your address book (yes, I still have one of those analog versions in paper) or contact list and identify 7 people who you’ve lost touch with over the years but really enjoyed and who brought out the best in you. Set a goal to contact one person each day for the next 7 days. Use email, phone, FaceTime, video (now that we’ve all mastered the technology : ), whatever works for you. At the end, keep going if you feel like it, it’s fun!

Well, it's been a long ride, but after almost 15 years of going back to graduate school (in my 40's) and learning the trade, I am finally hanging my shingle as they say and starting a private therapy practice. I've got a great office in downtown Brunswick and work primarily with adolescents and adults, offering individual and family counseling. Feel free to forward my name to anyone who you think might benefit from counseling, I'm currently accepting new clients.
