Today was a good session since restarting seeing clients. I was lucky enough to have one of my regulars whom I enjoy as a human being.

I'll be honest, after 2 months of stress and stepping back from clients, I was questioning if restarting and continuing this was in the cards for me. While the stress has evened out for now, it's a long term situation our family has to manage as best we can. I fully anticipate ups and downs.

However, after receiving reiki from my teacher, I felt lighter, more free, more settled. When I saw clients again, I just fell back into it so naturally. Today, I fell so much into it that it honestly felt as if time stopped, it didnt exist, it didnt matter. There is something so vast, deep and comforting in that for me.

While I'm still going to see clients, I'm committed to not over extending myself. Personally booking 1 person a week max is what works for me right now. I removed online scheduling through the clinic website to ensure that balance. However, I can always be reached here through messages and email, reikiwcasey@gmail.com, for booking.

I appreciate the patience, understanding and grace my family and I have received. It's always nice when you're reminded there are good people out there with compassion for others.

I guess we've all been good this year!

I hope where you are and whoever you're with, you find even a little joy during this time.

Not gonna lie, the past almost week has been ROUGH here with a family situation regarding my father in law. We are doing our best to navigate it, but managing this during the holidays (and our daughters birthday) has made things especially stressful.

I'm grateful my husband and I have been able to work as a team through it as well as ensuring we focus on keeping the magic for our daughter.

We were still able to go to Gardens Aglow, have a wonderful Christmas Eve and a super fun Christmas morning!

So, Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and all the joy! 🎄✨️

Everything is so pretty right now and winter has shown up!

I know some people dislike the holidays, winter or both! But there's a lot to love about each.

I've always loved the lights, music, traditions and decorations that the holidays bring.

And the snow brings extra sparkle and magic too!

We got our tree Friday! We found a spot nearby last year that's part of the Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association where the practice sustainable growing! There's no trimming, shaping or pesticides. You are very much searching the Maine woods for an amazing tree!

Not only do I love their practices, but theyre also really cool people! I vended Saturday with my art with cool people and they have a yurt where they had gatherings and events. I HAVE to get to one of those soon!

Today I have the house to myself, aside from this goober wanting my lunch lol

I've been spending it doing something needed for the house, but also to a degree needed for me. I'm cleaning lol

It sounds silly, but sometimes organizing and cleaning is helpful. I've probobly said this before, but I moved around a lot as a kid. I think that plays a part in why sometimes I feel like "oh man, too much stuff, it's gotta go". I think that feeling has been bubbling for a while and I've ignored it for too long.

So while I'm not going totally bonkers, I'm picking away at things and it feels nice. Putting things in a donation pile, throwing other things out and even cleaning dusty leaves. It's a quiet process which im enjoying as silly as it sounds.

So, whatever you need to do to decompress, relax, whatever, do it no matter how silly it may seem. If it feels helpful, it's helpful and thats all that matters

So, after the past couple of years conducting reiki sessions, I feel like I brush off or diminish something I should treat as special and, at the very least, interesting. I think time, more experience and gaining confidence in my work has helped to fuel this need to accept and share.

I'll lay it out there. Sometimes in sessions I see, hear or feel things.

Now I know that's not unique to energy workers. I know I'm not some novelty, I don't advertise this, but that doesn't mean I can't or shouldn't be able to share my experiences. I've had a lot of interesting experiences over the course of my life, and I feel pursuing reiki has brought it to the forefront where I don't want to ignore it.

So, periodically (and with client permission), I'll share more of those experiences here. I absolutely will not share client names or personal details/information. My goal is to share my session experiences and the validation from clients of their connection to them. My hope is that verbalizing it more (even through text) will allow me to feel more confident.

Well, another summer, another ferry. This started as an impromptu end of summer hurrah that has now spanned at least 4 years.

It now marks not just the end of summer but also the beginning of a new school year. This year we hit up Long Island which I haven't been to since my husband and I were dating. It was so fun to reminisce, catch hermit crabs and just enjoy the beautiful weather.

I'm so grateful we are able to do things like this. To slow down, enjoy ourselves and just be together.

I hope you've been able to take time to slow down, find what you're grateful for and just be.
