Patients in Ware and surrounding counties can now receive advanced urology and pulmonary services —ensuring more people in Southeast Georgia get the care they need, when they need it.

From painful latching to pumping while working full-time, Chelsea’s journey hasn’t been easy– but with support, she found her rhythm, her confidence and a deep bond with her baby.

At Southeast Georgia Physician Associates-Infectious Disease, our specialists provide expert care for serious and complex infections–including sepsis, HIV, staph/MRSA, diabetic wounds and more. But before visiting our specialists, you’ll need a referral from a provider with supporting diagnostic testing.

If you're experiencing symptoms of an infection, your first step is to contact your primary care provider or another clinician who can order the necessary tests. They’ll determine whether a referral to our team is needed.

Taylor Jackson’s breastfeeding journey didn’t go as planned—but what she discovered along the way changed everything.

Inspired by the women in her life, she was determined to breastfeed—but pain and uncertainty nearly made her give up. It wasn’t until she connected with a lactation consultant at Southeast Georgia Health System that things began to change. With guidance, support and a community through the Milky Weigh Support Group, Taylor found her strength—and hasn’t looked back.

💬 “Breastfeeding has taught me that I am strong and exactly what my baby needs.”

Now, 10 months in, she’s sharing her story to remind other moms: keep going—it’s worth it.

Away from work, Valerie is actively involved in her church and Bible studies, and she and her husband are currently building their dream home together. She enjoys walking outdoors, spending time with loved ones and traveling, especially to Italy.
