To my current Maine patients at Northern Sun Family Healthcare:

My family has made the decision to move out of state to be closer to my parents in St. Augustine, Florida. My current last day at Northern Sun will be Friday June 10th. I know this may be a big shock to some of you, this was a very tough decision on my end. I have spent four years here in Topsham, my hometown, meeting so many new wonderful and inspiring people in the Northern Sun community. I hope everyone will understand that making this move was necessary to be close to the ones we love, and to find support in being close proximity to family.

Northern Sun will continue to provide and offer excellent naturopathic care, and I highly recommend Dr. Mikaela Arredondo should you choose to continue your care there.

I will be shortly opening my own telehealth practice for my existing patients in Maine, with the hope to travel back up to maine for a week once a quarter to see patients in person. This care should start being available to you late this summer/early fall. Please email me draliciathomas@gmail.com if you are interested in finding more out about that. This practice will be limited to Maine residents, and I unfortunately won't be in-network with any insurances.

PSA: I don’t want anyone to feel isolated or alone right now, especially if it is impacting your mental health. Please let me know if you are feeling the strains of this “shelter in place” restriction, and need to come for a visit in my office. If you have children who are feeling the effects of not being around other children in school, let me know and let’s schedule a play date. I truly believe that human interaction is essential for many of us humans and want you to know that I am here for you. A visit at the office, a phone call, a play date with me and my kids, whatever you are truly needing. Please do not hesitate to ask. We need to get through this together, and if isolating away from society is causing you or your family more harm than good, I want to help anyway I can.
