📌THIS AFFECTS ALL OUR GEORGIA MEDICAID FAMILIES! GEORGIA MEDICAID had a policy update effective January 1st stating that no OT, PT, or ST services can begin without an evaluation report/plan of care/letter of medical necessity on file SIGNED BY YOUR MD. This means we can no longer get partial authorizations while we are waiting for your child's doctor to sign the report. This is causing a delay in starting services or re-starting services following an evaluation or re-evaluation. We want to assure you we are doing everything possible to get these documents signed by your child's doctor's office as quickly as possible. If you have questions, please contact the administrator at the therapy office you attend and we can provide you an update. YOU CAN ALSO PARTNER WITH US! If you have an upcoming appointment, get a copy of the document we need and you can take to your appointment with you to help get it signed.❤️
