Oaks is gearing up for our Spring Banquet 2026 on Saturday, April 25th at Vell's Event Center. If you like to plan events, we would love to have you join our Banquet Committee. We will be holding a meeting via Zoom on Monday, January 12th at 6:00pm. This is a new year and it is a good time to embrace your creative side. On Tuesday, January 13th Light + Art Studio will be starting back their art classes for the Winter season here at Oaks at 6:00pm. The classes are free & materials are included. If you need food, whether you receive SNAP benefits or not, you're welcome to come. Regardless of weather, the distribution will take place as scheduled.

Stating tomorrow, Monday 12/15, through Sunday 12/21, 20% of our sales will be donated to Oaks Family Care Center Brunswick

Located right here in Brunswick, Oaks’ ministry has provided free family support services to our community since 1998. They are dedicated to providing support services focused on meeting the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of their clients.

Services include: family building programs, material goods, parenting support, pregnancy testing and support, post-abortion recovery, spiritual growth, supervised visitation for parents, youth outreach programs, jail and detention center outreach programs, and food pantry.

We appreciate all that Oaks does for families in need in this community and hope you’ll com out to help us support them this week!

A few weeks ago for the Thanksgiving holiday Brunswick Girl Scout Troop 90783 blessed our clients with meal bags. Each bag included all the ingredients to make 2 meals and 1 dessert along with recipes to make each meal. Thank you so much Brunswick Girl Scout Troop 90783 for helping others during the holiday season!

Today is the last day to drop off sweet treats for our Sweet Treat Trays for our families that have been adopted through our Christmas Adopt-A-Family program! These sweet treats bring a little extra joy to the families during this special time of year.

Whether you’re part of a business, a small group, a church, or simply an individual who wants to give back, we welcome homemade or store-bought treats. These can be cookies, brownies, Rice Kripies Treats, pretzels, candy, cake pops, etc.

For additional information, please reach out to Becky at rnardi.oaks@gmail.com, call Oaks at 330-220-7777 or drop off your sweet treats at Oaks. All donations need to be received by 4:30pm today.

Holiday Donation Update -
As we prepare for our Christmas program and the holiday season, we are temporarily pausing the acceptance of most material goods and clothing donations.

This pause allows our staff to make room for our Christmas program and ensures that all donations remain safe while our office is closed for the holidays.

From now until Tuesday, January 6, 2026 we will continue to accept:
 Diapers
 Pull-Ups
 Wipes
 Baby food
 Formula
 Shelf-stable food items (not expired or opened)

Please reach out to Oaks at 330-220-7777 if you have questions on donations. Donations can be dropped off during our office hours 11am-5pm Mon/Tues/Thurs.

As the Christmas season is fast approaching let’s come together to bring joy to local families through our Christmas Adopt-a-Family program! As part of our program we bless each family with a Sweet Treat Tray for their family to share. Each tray is filled with cookies, candy, pretzels, brownies, etc.

We invite individuals, businesses, small groups, and churches to bring homemade or store-bought goodies to Oaks on Tuesday, December 9th by 4:30pm. Your contribution can help bring a little more joy and sweetness to their Christmas!
