Since opening in Fall 2025, the MaineHealth Food Pantry Brunswick has served as a vital resource, providing healthy food at no cost to patients and community members in need.

Thank you to community members Ryan and Lindsay Rnzy for their generous donation of 325 bars of locally made goat milk soap from Ledgeway Farm in Pittston. They chose to give back to the hospital where their children were born, honoring their family’s experience and supporting the care teams and community that meant so much to them.
We’re grateful for community partners who help us care for our neighbors in meaningful ways!

While the MaineHealth Parkview Health Center is closed to patients this evening, we’ll be open for business as usual tomorrow (Tuesday).

The Town of Brunswick found the source of the water main leak and restored water to the campus, as well as the Senior Health Center, Thornton Oaks and the Walk-In Care Clinic. We are grateful for their fast actions, as well as other community partners who were readily available to us and provided updates.

MaineHealth is now offering a virtual support group for people living with ALS, creating space for connection, encouragement, and shared understanding among patients across Maine.

The MaineHealth Support Group for People Living with ALS is open to patients receiving care through the MaineHealth ALS Specialty Care Clinic in Brunswick. Because participants live throughout the state, the group meets virtually - removing travel barriers and making it easier to join from home.

🗓 Meets: Last Monday of each month
⏰ Time: 10–11 a.m.
💻 Format: Virtual
👥 Facilitated by: Brenda Schroeder, RN, BSN-BC, and Tiarra LaPierre, LCSW

The group offers a supportive environment to share experiences, build connections and reduce the isolation that can accompany an ALS diagnosis.

To receive the meeting link or learn more, email Brenda.Schroeder@mainehealth.org
or call MaineHealth Neurology Brunswick at 207-373-6099.
