I’ve been in your shoes…

In 2015, I had just graduated college & finished playing softball for good.

I remember feeling
👉🏼 Lost
👉🏼 Disgusted
👉🏼 Frustrated
👉🏼 Confused

The working out part wasn’t the issue. I did that really well, but it never looked like it. I was lost when it came down to understand HOW to lose body fat.

What foods should I eat? How much should I eat? Can I have carbs? How much should I run?

I had so many questions and figured the only way to do it was through a cleanse🤷🏼‍♀️

❌Nope. That sucked❌

So then I went into bodybuilding🤦🏽‍♀️

❌Nope. That sucked more ❌

I couldn’t eat more than 1400 calories and I was terrified I would gain it all back if I did.

I was BAFFLED at women who could eat 2,000 calories and looked so lean & tone.

So I went on a journey with myself and…

🙌🏼FOUND THE ANSWER🙌🏼

Speeding up my metabolism made losing body fat SIMPLE!

Not easy, but simple.

I didn’t truly figure this out until 2021. That’s SIX YEARS😭

Yup, I struggled for SIX YEARS.

And of course, I got pregnant right as I started figuring this out🤣

But then I was really put to the test! But because I understood this, my postpartum journey was SIMPLE.

Remember…Not easy, But simple.

And since I trusted it, I ended up losing 50lbs in 11 months💃🏼

✅ Eating no less than 1700 calories (this was in my fat loss phase)
✅ Lifting 3x/week
✅ No cardio other than walking
✅ Flexibility to eat out

An easy way to start your day if you find yourself always RUNNING🏃🏼‍♀️💨 around all morning.

This will take you 5 minutes & get you to increase protein intake which ultimately speeds up your metabolism👏🏼

✅ Protein builds muscle & helps you look tone
✅ Carbs provide you with energy
✅ Fats support hormone function

The New Year shouldn’t be about REMOVING. It should be about ADDING!

ADD more protein
ADD more water
ADD more movement
ADD in strength training
ADD in more veggies

For a long time, I doubted myself.

Especially those first few months postpartum.

I was physically exhausted. Barely getting 4-5 hours of sleep a night.

I was mentally exhausted. Trying to manage it all at home, working full time, and taking care of a baby.

I felt like a prisoner in my own body.

Not only were my clothes super tight, but I was so weak in the gym.

It all felt so discouraging.

But I remember asking myself, “what hard do I want?”

The hard to figure out a new lifestyle? Or the hard to always be miserable in my body and try to “accept” this new normal?

I hated option #2

So I made a promise to myself to never give up, no matter how hard it might get.

I asked for support from my husband. I didn’t need permission to change how I felt.

See, the issue with most moms in making a change is not because they can’t handle it…

It’s because they don’t have the support or direction they need🤷🏼‍♀️

They need someone to take off the mental load for them.

They need someone that helps meet them where they’re at, not another unrealistic diet plan.

And for someone to finally BELIVE in them.

What if you had actual, true support?

You say you can’t add one more thing to your plate.

But I’d say, you can’t afford not to🤷🏼‍♀️

When mom is taken care of, your home feels more at peace. And if you don’t believe me, I dare you to try and find out for yourself.

Make these simple swaps the next time you hit up Starbucks🫶🏼

Drinks that have a ton of sugar in them will result in a massive afternoon crash.

So instead, swap it for a less sugary drink (& also make sure you’re eating something high in protein & fiber).

Shoulders are my favorite to train 💪🏼
A couple key points for the BB OH press (strict & push press)
✨ Place your hands exactly in line with your shoulders
✨ Stand square, shoulder width apart
✨ Tuck your hips under (pelvic tilt)
✨ Keep elbows in front, slight 45* angle

One thing to note for when you go heavy (2nd video)
✨ Have a slight bend in your knees & drive the weight up
✨ KEEP HIPS TUCKED
✨ Always finish at starting point, getting full ROM

Overnight Oats Recipe:
- 30g oats
- 1 Tbs chai seeds
- 1 scoop of protein powder (I like to use whey)
- Almond milk/cashew milk to cover the mixture
- Top with blueberries (any kind of fruit)

Lets grow those glutes🍑.
I wanted to give my upper body a break during this workout, so you'll notice that everything is hands free🙌🏼.
✨Belt Squats: 5x10. Focus on hips back & heel drive.
✨ Beltes RDL: 4x15. Hip hinge, soft knees.
✨ Hip Thrust: 4x15. Chin stays tucked to chest, knees in line with ankles.
✨ Wide to Narrow Leg press: 4x10/10. This is SPED up. Wide Stance, focus on heel drive. Narrow Stance, focus on keeping feet planted and lower back staying on.

BREAKFAST ALERT🚨🚨

This has been my favorite lately and I wanted to share!

1. Thinly slice brussel sprouts and sweet potatoes
2. Add avocado oil to a warm pan & add your veggies
3. Add seasonings: cumin, chilli powder, salt & tumeric
4. Let everything cook about halfway, mixing it often. You'll then create 2 spaces for your eggs. Cover and reduce to low heat.
5. Let them cook as desired. I like to have a runny yoke so I wait until the eggs are just barely covered by the whites

I add some Sriracha and dive it!😋
