Morningstar Children and Family Services We are a child services non-profit providing residential care, and community counseling services. Morningstar Children and Family Services, Inc.

was founded in 1997 to provide residential, therapeutic foster care and mental health services to children, youth and their families. These programs provide quality services and for children and youth who have been diagnosed with two or more intellectual, developmental, behavioral and emotional disabilities.

Traditions matter - especially here at Morningstar Children & Family Services.

From cozy Christmas pajamas from Golden Isles Association of Realtors to the much-anticipated cinnamon rolls on Christmas morning from Grandy's in Brunswick, Georgia, these simple moments create a sense of home, safety, and joy for the youth we serve. None of it happens without the incredible staff and volunteers who show up with love, consistency, and heart—making the holidays feel warm and meaningful year after year.

Our Story

Morningstar Children and Family Services, Inc. was founded in 1997 to provide residential, foster care, and mental health services to children and youth. Our residential campus serves up to 5o youth with developmental and emotional challenges. Through our mental health program, we serve our children on campus and community children and youth. Our foster care program provides stable and loving homes for children and youth in the custody of DFCS.
