I am continuing to see patients through telehealth. Although in person is best, telehealth provides a wonderful alternative and is supported by the American Psychological Association. Here's an article published by Forbes that promotes this method. This will most likely be the method utilized until a vaccine is readily available for all. Please read this article and feel free to leave comments. Please share!

We're stuck with teletherapy for now because viral safety procedures undermine the psychological safety psychotherapy requires.

The bulk of insurances have approved video or phone services during the Covid-19 epidemic Call or text the office at 786-3556 for more information or to set up an appointment. Due to Covid-19, Sheri Clark, LCPC will now being providing mental health services via telemedicine for the immediate future. Most insurances are covering this service now This change is to protect everyone's safety. Call or text to set up a video appointment and instructions will be given on how to download the app. It's very easy to do. These are very difficult times for many, so please let your friends and family know that there are safe options to address your mental health needs. Please stay safe!

I don't always think that everyone knows how difficult it is to be a therapist and sit day in and day out with people's pain. However, I've been doing this for over 30 years now and I wouldn't do anything else. It's not work for me, but a passion. I received this in the mail today from a past patient and it again reaffirmed why I do this work!
