The City of Brush!, through its contractor WFI, will be cleaning sewers in areas of Brush starting March 5th and throughout the month of March.

Areas most likely to be affected by the cleaning will be:
• The 600 and 700 blocks of Lincoln and Turner
• The 100-700 blocks of Custer, Carson, Cameron, Clayton, and Colorado
• All of Munn’s Addition and all of Williams Street area
• 300 block of East Edmunds and Meadows Mobile Home

Some of the effects can be water being sucked out of sinks, floor drains, and toilets. On rare occasions, water can be expelled from toilets which is caused by plugged or failing plumbing vents.

If you smell sewer gasses, please check all your sinks and floor drains and run water to refill them. Also check your plumbing venting systems to ensure they are operating correctly and not plugged.

Please call City Hall at 970-842-5001 with any questions!
