In the coming weeks and months, they will be going door to door, leaving printed information and will be available to discuss the project.

10/22/25 2:30 UPDATE: The water main break is now repaired and water has been restored to the area. There may be some sediment stirred up in the lines in the area of Elm and Spruce Streets. If your water has a brownish or redish tint to it, run the water on cold until it runs clear.

Please be advised that the City will be flushing fire hydrants during the week of October 26 through the October 27th and between the hours of 12 a.m. and 6 a.m. During this process you may notice a reddish/brown color to the water. This is normal and should this occur, allow the water to run from the faucet until it clears. Washing clothes prior to 9 a.m. is discouraged.

We appreciate your cooperation while we perform this necessary task for the maintenance of the city.
