For most people, muscle pain is a common reason for back or neck soreness, but nerves can also be involved. Persistent postural-perceptual dizziness is a vestibular disorder that affects the balance system. The vestibular system (located in the inner ear) sends the brain the wrong message about how the body is moving. It causes a near-constant sense of dizziness, often triggered by physical or visual movement.
