Late post (July 14TH- 18Th)

Dean David got to attend his second year of Vacation Bible School! We had a great time together I have gotten to attend with him both year to help with his special needs!

Update on Dean David

We made it home we got to go home the next evening after being in the emergency room for over 24 hours. But I haven’t been able to update as I was in a car accident and having been very sore. They believe Dean David has CMV virus again but they haven’t been able to confirm it. Dean David wouldn’t give them a stool sample the whole time we were at the hospital but start pooping again as soon as we got home. Now we’re on week 6 of him having diarrhea with no plans on what they want to do next.

Update on Dean David

We’re here at Motts Children’s Hospital Dean David has been having diarrhea for 3 weeks now. We have seen the doctor and done a couple medication level checks. But at this point he isn’t wanted to eat and is complaining about his tummy hurting and having severe gas. They had us bring him in to get a stool sample and run more test they may be keeping him.

We hope everyone has a safe and wonderful Independence Day!

Dean David got to see so many fireworks and we still have the firework show where we live on Friday!

Dean David has had such a great time going to 3 fireworks shows and having a family firework evening with the great grandma and grandma!

Update on Dean David

It been a rough time for Dean David he has a hydrocele and will have to have surgery. He has been in a great deal of pain but the fluid has finally gone back down. They are going to see him in August which is way to far away but we’re looking it to other options. Dean David did very good at the hospital I had to take him to 2 different hospitals to find one that could do an ultrasound. We’re hoping that it will not swell again and we can get him into see the surgeon.

A hydrocele (HI-droe-seel) is a type of swelling in the sc***um, the pouch of skin that holds the testicles. This swelling happens when fluid collects in the thin sac that surrounds a testicle. Hydroceles are common in newborns. They often go away without treatment by age 1. Older children and adults can get a hydrocele due to an injury within the sc***um or other health problems.
