Update On - Dean David And Life Of A Transplant Mom

Dean David had a pretty good day today. He was only sick once and also had a headache, for which they gave him Tylenol, but he did spend a lot of the day sleeping after staying up all night and most of the morning. Before I left, I had to do surprise time.

Update On - Dean David And Life Of A Transplant Mom

Dean David really needs your love, support, and prayers!

This virus is really hard on Dean David; he is struggling. He is sleeping a lot and having a really hard time. Before he fell asleep, he was in tears, saying his head hurt, so I had the nurse give him some Tylenol, and he is now passed out sleeping.

Please continue to Pray for Dean David and that a heart comes soon!

Dean David also now has Clostridioides difficile (C. diff), a bacterium that causes severe diarrhea, abdominal pain, fever, and nausea.

LIFE OF A TRANSPLANT MOM

Dean David loves it when Aunt Candice comes to visit him and his little brother Wyatt at the hospital. Last week we had a pizza party; I ordered Marcos because it is Dean David's favorite at home. I was hoping he would eat some, but he didn't. It's now been almost a month since he has really eaten.

Update On - Dean David And Life Of A Transplant Mom

Today, after 155 days in the hospital, Dean David got to go outside!

Because Dean David is at such high risk, for this to happen, he had to have two nurses and a PCA with a walkie-talkie, ready in case of an emergency. They could only take him right out front and he could only have 15 minutes, but he was so happy.
