At Laurelle Family Health & Wellness, we want every woman—and every person—to understand the importance of early detection when it comes to breast cancer.
Here are some powerful 2025 statistics:
• An estimated 316,950 women in the U.S. will be diagnosed with invasive breast cancer this year.
• Additionally, around 59,080 new cases of ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS), a non-invasive form of breast cancer, are expected.
• Tragically, about 42,170 women will die from breast breast cancer in 2025.
• The lifetime risk for a woman in the U.S. developing breast cancer is about 1 in 8
• The good news: When breast cancer is found at a localized stage (before it spreads), 5-year survival rates are very high.
Why this matters:
Because breast cancer is so common—and because survival improves dramatically with early detection—screening matters. Finding it early gives you the best chance for successful treatment.
What you can do right now:
✅ Schedule your breast health screening (mammogram, clinical breast exam, whatever your provider recommends).
✅ If you notice any changes in your breast tissue (lumps, skin changes, ni**le discharge) don’t wait — call us.
✅ Talk to us about your personal risk factors (family history, genetic concerns, lifestyle) so we can tailor a plan that's right for you.
At Laurelle Family Health & Wellness, we’re here for you.
