We wanted an easy way for our Rooted family to connect with others and break the cycle of loneliless and unhealthy living. We decided to start with a gathering to meet and be encouragements to each other.Ā 

Our first Rooted Family Gathering was this evening, and it was great to see people come out to meet others while sharing some healthful snacks and getting little gardens started! šŸŽšŸ„•šŸ«šŸ„’šŸŖ“

We are now offering vaccines at our office!!
We are excited to announce that we have partnered up with to provide vaccines for those with insurance.
The adult vaccines we are currently providing are for:
- Shingles
- HPV
- Pneumonia
- Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria & pertussis)
- Hepatitis A
- Hepatitis B
- RSV

We are also planning on providing childhood vaccines soon! We will make an announcement when they are available. But until then, if you have questions about any of the childhood immunizations, we have pamphlets available in the office!

Contact us if you are interested, and we can help figure out if your insurance will cover any of these vaccines!

Erika Cisneros has joined our practice as a new Medical Assistant!

Erika has worked as a medical assistant in the Brazos County for the past 18 years. 14 of those years were in pediatrics, specializing in vaccines and injection knowledge. She also has 4 year of experience in family health. With the length of time she has worked in the community, Erika has a wealth of knowledge and connections to local resources.

She is married to Jessie and has two kids.

We are so excited to welcome Jessica Dundas, FNP to the Rooted Family Health team!

Jessica graduated with her undergraduate degree in 2007 from Lamar University. From there she went on to take care of newborns, new moms, and their families. When she moved to College Station with her husband in 2014, she continued to take care of moms and babies and obtained her Lactation Consultant certification. Becoming a Certified Lactation Consultant encouraged her to return to school once again to obtain her masterā€™s degree. She attended University of Texas at Arlington, and did her clinical rotations in Bryan & College Station. Jessica finished her MSN in Nursing, graduating in December 2019, and obtained her Family Nurse Practitioner board certification.

Jessicaā€™s experience as an FNP includes a mixture of family medicine, internal medicine, aesthetics, and home visits. She believes in having a meaningful patient-provider relationship can make a difference in patients health outcomes and looks forward to creating these relationships at Rooted Family Health.

She is married to Chase, an engineer, and they have two beautiful daughters. They enjoy family time, music, art, and traveling.

Jessica will be starting out performing wellness exams, so if you are needing an annual check up give us a call and book an appointment with her!

Itā€™s that time of year againā€¦ Weā€™re offering flu shots at our office this year! šŸ’‰ Anyone is welcome whether or not youā€™re a member with our practice, so tell your friends and family!
It will be $15 per person. Call to make an appointment, or come to one of our vaccine clinics on October 3rd, 10th and 17th from 9:00-12:00.
