We wrapped up our week-long flavor adventure with a taste of home...the USA! ❤️🤍💙
Today’s all-American menu featured BBQ sandwiches, crispy spiral fries, and classic corn dogs!

National School Lunch Week: Italy Day!
Today, our students took a tasty trip to Italy with a menu featuring Italian cavatini — made with homemade spaghetti sauce, ground beef, pepperoni, penne and rigatoni pasta, cottage cheese, and melty mozzarella! 🍝🧀
Served alongside warm garlic knots, this lunch brought all the cozy, comforting Italian flavors to our cafeteria!❤️
We’re loving this flavorful world tour...where to next? 🌎✈️

National School Lunch Week: Mexico Day!!🎊
Today, our students enjoyed bold and festive flavors with a menu inspired by Mexico!
Lunch featured tamales and walking tacos, a fun twist made with chips, homemade taco meat, and creamy queso! 🌮🫔🧀
It was a delicious way to keep our taste buds traveling during NSLW! 🌎✈️

National School Lunch Week: Taste the World! ✨🌍
We're kicking off the first day of NSLW with a sweet and savory favorite for National Chicken & Waffles Day!
Today's menu featured crispy chicken tenders, fluffy waffles, and sweet potato waffle fries — a fun twist that brought smiles all around. 🍗🧇🍠

✈️ We’re traveling the world, one lunch at a time! 🌍
It’s National School Lunch Week (Oct. 20–24), and our cafeterias are celebrating with international flavors all week long!

Students will get their own passports to collect stamps as they “visit” a new country each day. 🍝🌮🥗

We love seeing our students try new foods and have fun at lunchtime. It’s going to be a delicious week! 😋

🎉Feature Friday: SFA Middle School
Say hello to the powerhouse team at Stephen F. Austin Middle School!

This crew starts bright and early at 6:30 AM to prepare for their busy days — serving over 600 breakfasts and more than 900 lunches daily! (Their record? A whopping 962 meals served for lunch! 😲)

🌮 Student Favorite Meal: Build-your-own nachos with seasoned taco meat or chicken fajita meat and all the toppings!
🍝 Staff Favorite Meal: Homemade cavatini! Think lasagna vibes with a twist! Two pastas, beef, spaghetti sauce, tomatoes, cottage cheese, mozzarella, and even pepperoni. Yum!

Favorite parts of the job?
✔️ Seeing the students enjoy the meals
✔️ Making the line look colorful and appetizing
✔️ Working together with an awesome team

Welcome back to Feature Friday, where we celebrate the incredible school nutrition teams across Bryan ISD!

This week, we're stopping by Navarro Elementary, where this hardworking team serves up 220 breakfasts and 350 lunches every single day!

🍕 Student Favorite Meal: Bagel Bites — mini pizzas on small bagels that are always a hit with the kids!
🍗 Staff Favorite Meal: Chicken legs — crispy, juicy, and delicious!

Favorite part of the job?
"Talking and interacting with the kids! They always have the funniest conversations and you never know what they'll say next!"

When it comes to keeping the kitchen running smoothly, this team lives by a simple motto: “Work with others the same way you'd want them to work with you.”💙
