Cynthia Garcia owns and operates Gentle Love Doula and has called The Well home since May.
"I am a devoted mother of four, a Certified Full Spectrum Doula, Peer Lactation Counselor, and Placenta Specialist. My background as a chef and trauma-informed birth professional fuels my passion for delivering quality and compassionate care to every client I serve.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, I add a personal touch to my services, making every interaction warm and approachable.
Drawing from my diverse experiences, which include a C-section, two hospital VBACs (Vaginal Births After Cesarean), and a home birth, I bring empathy and understanding to all aspects of childbirth. Having faced pregnancy losses, I deeply connect with those who have experienced similar challenges.
Empowering and encouraging women and families is at the heart of my work. I strive to ensure that every client feels informed and confident in their decisions throughout their pregnancy journey. As a survivor of sexual assault, I am dedicated to advocating for survivors, making sure they feel heard and empowered. I aim to give survivors a voice and choices in their birthing experiences, championing their rights every step of the way.
Every aspect of my work is driven by a commitment to education, empowerment, and creating an environment where individuals can make informed decisions that align with their values and preferences.
When I'm not immersed in my professional roles, I enjoy wearing many hats. You might find me enjoying a good book, savoring my favorite cup of tea, or skillfully crocheting to unwind. Cooking and baking are more than professional skills to me; they're expressions of love and creativity. I take immense pleasure in crafting delightful culinary experiences and cherishing joyful moments with my children, creating memories that extend beyond my advocacy and professional endeavors."
