We currently have an opening for a part-time patient billing coordinator/optician. This position requires customer service and computer skills. Experience with basic accounting and/or medical insurance are beneficial, but we will train. Must be math-minded, independent problem solver with excellent attention to detail, and able to work with hands for glasses repairs. Our optician is moving out of the area in the next couple of months, so we are seeking to add a professional, upbeat individual to our team. Our office is a LOCALLY OWNED, well established, small private practice. Our goal is to be the bright spot in every patient's day!

Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting with patient frame selection, billing, dispensing, and repairs.
- Contact lens insertion & removal training
- Answering phones and scheduling appointments.
- Patient communication via online texting.
- Basic insurance pre-authorization.

This position is perfect for a multi-tasker who enjoys variety in their duties. Excellent computer and customer service skills are a must. Experience is a bonus, but we are happy to offer on-the-job training to the right individual. You will be joining a team of people who are caring, hard-working, and eager to help each other!

M, T, Th, F 8:30-5:00. (Start time could be a little later, but coverage is necessary in the afternoon.) Some flexibility when occasional days off are needed for personal appointments/family needs.
