:: Flamingo Reminder ::

"Through the past few years I have gone through so many changes that left me feeling so lost. In those moments I started noticing I would see flamingos in the most random places. I started to this as the Lord saying "I am with you, your right where I need you." and so I am getting the tattoo as a constant reminder to look for God in all circumstances and to remember He has me."

:: Fake Skin and Ink Master ::

My fake skin hasn’t said much, but I think we’ve bonded a little. I’ve been a nail tech for almost three years, so being a true beginner at something again is so weird. It’s humbling, exciting, frustrating, and so fulfilling all at once. I’ve spent the past 10 weeks pouring effort into learning this craft—slowly building my style, my linework, and, of course, binge-watching Ink Master.

If you want to wear my work permanently (and talk more than my fake skin does), follow along. I’ll be taking clients so soon 🤍

We are so excited to announce that we are adding a new service to Storyline....Permanent Jewelry! Nik Walborn, our Shop Manager, co-owner of Storyline, and husband to Arminda, has gone through an intensive certification process and is now an "Officially Linked Permanent Jewelry Artist".

As a dad of daughters, Nik knows how to embrace his inner softy and fully jump in to activities that might leave other men feeling awkward. Nik is planning on creating an experience perfect for individuals, friends, families, and especially couples. He wishes to bring a level of masculinity and sensitivity to this profession that will help couples and men feel comfortable enjoying time with the women in their life.

Nik is currently accepting appointments on a limited basis and has 6 "one time only" chain options that will only be offered for a short time.

It is our hope that we can continue to add to the list of experiences that we offer that allow friends and families to create meaningful memories and find creative ways to share their stories together.

Got to pierce the sweetest 3-year-old twins today for their very first earrings — matching, of course! 👯‍♀️✨ This one was extra special for me because if you don’t know, I’m a twin too! 💖

My twin sis is my favorite person in the world and has been my built-in best friend since day one (swipe to see us as littles!). Being a twin is such a gift, and it made this moment feel full circle.

:: Vine Arm Sleeve ::

I had the honor of working with the beautiful client and spending the day creating an arm sleeve from scratch! This was definitely a HUGE challenge and honor to be a part of as an artist. It helps to have a client that can sit like a rock all day!

Just the stencils alone took about an hour and a half to place perfectly. I am so thankful to have had the experience as a tattooer and will look back on this piece as a milestone of my career. Thank you to my client and all of my clients who put their trust in me and allow me to be a part of their story!

:: Hands Down - Favorite Piercing ::

The conch is hands down my favorite piercing to do!
I love it because it’s totally unique on everyone - like a personal puzzle.

It’s bold but subtle, easy to style, and usually heals well in about 6-8 weeks.

The conch looks cute with a stud, but my favorite way to style it is with a hoop- so effortlessly cool.
