Welcome our newest therapist to the team!
Faith is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A) based in Friendswood, Texas. Her fascination with how the brain works led her to earn a Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Neuroscience. While she enjoyed the scientific aspects of neuroscience, Faith was driven to understand people on a deeper level—their emotions, experiences, and the challenges that shape them. This passion prompted her to pursue a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health at St. Edward’s University, ultimately becoming a therapist.
Faith believes therapy should be a safe, judgment-free space where clients can feel truly heard and supported. Her approach is person-centered, meaning she meets clients where they are in their mental health journey and works alongside them to navigate whatever challenges they may be facing. Though her style is collaborative and tailored to each individual, she also draws from tools like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) when they are beneficial.
During her internship, Faith gained valuable experience working with a wide range of mental health diagnoses, developing a particular passion for working with individuals diagnosed with schizophrenia. She also has a strong interest in supporting those who have experienced trauma and PTSD. Through her research, Faith has explored the barriers that prevent people, particularly military members, from seeking mental health care. She is committed to helping break the stigma surrounding the pursuit of support. Whether someone is struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, or life transitions, Faith is dedicated to walking with them through their challenges.
Outside of therapy, Faith enjoys spending time outdoors—whether it's playing sports, hiking, or having fun with her two dogs at a park. In the evenings, she loves relaxing with a good movie on the couch, often enjoying a musical.
Faith Brothers is a counselor with Bridging Connections Therapy in College Station, Texas offering couples therapy, individual therapy, family therapy, and adolescent therapy. Virtual appointments are available. She is currently accepting private pay clients.
