Northwest Ohio Vision center provides comprehensive vision care and eye health optometric services as well as designer and brand name glasses, frames, and contact lenses to the Bryan, Ohio community. HOURS:
Mon.-Wed. 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Thurs. 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Saturdays By appointment. The practice was started by Dr. F

rederick W Richardson in 1940. In 1976 Dr. Keith Woodard joined the practice followed by Dr. Robert Hill in 1993. In 1995 Dr. Thomas Olnhausen merged his practice with Northwest Ohio Vision Center where he continued to see patients until his retirement in 2012. In 1998 Dr. Tara Richmond joined Northwest Ohio Vision Center. The practice welcomed Bryan native,
Dr. Andrea Yahraus, in 2018.

What Does 20/20 Vision Actually Mean?
Spoiler: It’s not superhero vision — it’s normal vision!

Think of it like this:

If you have 20/20 vision, it means you can see at 20 feet what a person with “normal” vision should see at 20 feet.
So if there's a sign 20 feet away, and you can read it clearly, congrats! That’s 20/20.

But if you have 20/40 vision, you'd need to be 20 feet away to see what others can see clearly from 40 feet.
(Translation: You might need a little help from glasses or contacts.)
