The Seamless Summer Food Program begins tomorrow in Bryan ISD at Navarro Elementary in Bryan ISD and Boys & Girls Club of the Brazos Valley. These sites will be open Monday through Friday for breakfast and lunch through July 21.

Navarro is scheduled to be open for breakfast from 8:30 to 9 a.m. and for lunch from 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The Boys and Girls Club is scheduled to be serving breakfast from 8:30-9:30 a.m. and lunch from 12:30-1 p.m.

Additional sites will be opening on Monday throughout the district. All sites will be closed Monday, June 19 and Tuesday, July 4.

The following sites are opening June 5 will be open through June 29:
Bonham Elementary in Bryan ISD
Bowen Elementary in Bryan ISD
Crockett Elementary in Bryan ISD
Fannin Elementary in Bryan ISD
Henderson Elementary in Bryan ISD
Kemp-Carver Elementary in Bryan ISD
Neal Elementary in Bryan ISD
Rayburn Intermediate School in Bryan ISD
Davila Middle School in Bryan ISD


The times for these sites are still being set, but will be available soon. Details for these sites and others throughout the Brazos Valley will be available at summerfood.org.

This federally-funded summer feeding program serves to help students get nutritious meals throughout the summer. For some students, school is the one place where they can depend on a nutritious meal. That need for a healthy meal does not stop when school ends.

Families do not need to present an ID or make reservations to benefit from this program. It is available for all children and teens 18 years old and younger and for enrolled students with disabilities up to 21 years old.

The Brazos Valley Psychological Association (BVPA) is excited to announce a new student scholarship award for the Texas Psychological Association (TPA) Annual Convention. The Convention will be held at the Westin Houston Memorial City from November 3-4, 2023. The theme for this year’s convention is Meaningful Impact. Recipients will receive funding for their convention registration fee and student TPA membership fee (if not already a student member). Additional funding for transportation and lodging may be available on a needs-basis.

Eligibility Requirements:
Applicants must be a BVPA Student Member (by the time of submission). This scholarship is restricted to Graduate Students.

Application Deadline
July 15th, 2023*
Award winner will be named by August 15th, 2023

*Proposal submission for presentations for TPA has passed. Proposal submission deadline for posters for TPA is May 31. Presentation notification will be July 7.

Authorities and family confirm that Lilly was safely located a short time ago just north of Houston. They continue their work regarding appropriate criminal charges related to person(s) with her.



The City of Bryan Police Department () is seeking information on the location of 16 year old Lilly Woodson Eckert. Lilly was reported missing and has not been seen since approximately 10:30 pm on Thursday May 18, 2023 at her residence in the 6100 blk of Canterbury Dr, Bryan, Brazos County, TX. It is believed that she could be with person(s) who are exposing her to harm. They may have left the local area and could be in the Houston or San Antonio areas. Please share.
