🤔Do you ever under estimate your value?

Earlier this year, a woman bought a painting for $2.99 at a thrift store and sold it for nearly $3,000 when she discovered it was the work of a gifted artist.

Most of God’s children are like that. We underestimate our value and the value of the spiritual gifts God has given us.

Many times we are so focused on seeking our gifts, our calling, our purpose, we naglect to seek truely seek the Lord.

But when we shift our focus back on that intimate relationship, longing to know the Lord more deeply, then He reveals to us the gifts He has layed before us!

As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another.
1 Peter 4:10

As we serve the Lord, our gifts will emerge. But anxiety over finding our own distinctive set of spiritual gifts may keep us from today’s tasks.

So, let’s worry less about finding our gifts and spend a little more time exercising them by ministering to one another with the ability which God supplies.

Peter simply said, “ But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers. And above all things have fervent love for one another, for love will cover a multitude of sins. Be hospitable to one another without grumbling. As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies, that in all things, God may be glorified through Christ Jesus, to whom belong the glory in the dominion forever and ever. Amen” (1 Peter 4:7-11).

That’s something you can do today!

Love ya!

"The Savage" and the story behind it.

The horse on the left was in the lead, horse on the right was closing in the gap and starting to pass. Instead of the horse on the left putting forth more effort into gaining and keeping the lead, he reaches over and bites the horse on the right. Meanwhile the horse on the right has his ears laid back and his eye on the prize. Moral of the story.. Never entertain foolishness. Have a purpose in life, Stay focused and never let others bring you down. Winners are not people who never fail, but people who never quit. There is an old saying: a champion is someone who is willing to be uncomfortable & Rock bottom has built more champions than privilege. It's about hard work and drive.. Determination to keep pushing forward when others would love to see you fail. Winning isn't the score on the board, it's seeing something through to the end and congratulating your opponent. If you win through bad sportsmanship there is no real victory.

“Gratitude and attitude are not challenges; they are choices.”

Many out there will tell you the finding Christ and becoming Christian will make all of your troubles and pain, and disappointments, and despair fade away. That it’s all rainbows and butterflies.

I’m just gonna be straightforward with you and I’m gonna to tell you that that’s a lie. Why is that? because we live in a fallen and broken world.
Our God is real, Heaven is real. Hell is real and The Devil is real and is here to kill, steal, and destroy.

2 Corinthians 4:7-9

But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us.
We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; Perplexed, but not driven to his despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed.

But when we trust in God. when we read his word and hide it in our heart. When we seek him diligently, and when we trust him fully, he will always be there for us no matter the circumstance.

Look at a clay pot, outwardly looks strong, solid, hard. It looks like it could withstand whatever comes at it. But in reality, it is brittle and weak. It can’t take a blow. It can’t with stain a hit. It will chip , crack and crumble under too much pressure.

Very much like us. Outwardly, we may look strong,. We may look like we have it all together. We may look as though the circumstance at hand is not breaking us, but inwardly we’ve are broken, we’re crumbling. We can’t withstand the pressure on our own, because we are weak.

So I encourage you to turn to God, dig into his word, seek him in every obstacle, every circumstance, in joy and in pain, every trial, every heartache and in every victory. Lean into him, allow him to be your strength. In our weakness, he is strong. Allow His strength to be shown in your life. Abide in him.

2 Cor. 12:9
“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in your weakness.”

In Psalms 91:14&15 the Bible tells us. “Because he’s loved me therefore I will deliver him. I will set him securely on high because he has known my name. He will call upon me and I will answer him. I will be with him in trouble. I will rescue him and honor him.

I encourage you today if you’re facing hard times. If struggles are holding you down. If pain and heartache, have you paralyzed. When you feel like you don’t have the strength to stand, stand in the strength of the Lord, knowing, that even though you are in the midst of a battle, the war has been won!

I challenge you today, instead of dwelling on the hard , and the negative, and talking about the troubles that you face.

Speak only of the victory, proclaim victory over the circumstances, declare it over your life! stay positive even when it’s so dark you can’t see even a hit of day light. knowing that you have victory over it in the name of Jesus, our Lord.

Rom. 8:28
“ and we know that in all things, God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”

I pray that out of his glorious riches, he may strengthen you with power through his spirit in your inner being.
Ephesians 3:16

"You have to make a decision to deal aggressively with fear. You can’t be passive and expect to live in victory. The only way to conquer fear is to confront it head-on with the Word of God."

Many of us tend to focus on the negatives—the “what ifs” and the potential for failure—and when we do, we always find them. Instead, train your mind to seek the positives in every situation. When you do, things are far more likely to turn out better.

Success is something that can never be handed to you, it’s earned with hard work, determination and believing in yourself.

When you are feeling weighed down by your circumstances, change your perspective by looking up to God. Muster the courage to say, “Lord, I humble myself under Your mighty hand.” Submit to God and His ways in your life, even though you long to break free. This protects you from fighting against God—-the Creator and Sustainer of the universe. Instead of engaging in this battle you cannot win, use your energy to cope with the situation and learn from it. Trust that He will lift you up—relieve your suffering— in Gods perfect, wisely appointed time.

Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. —1 Peter 5:6

May the Lord bless you and keep you.

And incase no one had told you today, I love you dearly❣️

A new year is a lot like a Monday—it’s a fresh start, a chance to set new goals and make changes to the things you’re not happy with. But it can also feel like a Monday in another way—when we wish away the past week, forgetting that one day we’ll want those weeks and years back.

Instead, focus on the good and the things you can actually change. Then make it happen!
