Broccoli cheese soup via a recipe from . I made a small modification —the fam wasn’t keen on the carrots. But it was a hit! Debbie posted a few weeks back. It’s based on a soup from an old Little Rock haunt: John Barleycorn’s, which I think was located at Breckenridge Village when that was brand a new shopping area. My mother used to like it, and took Stacey and I there when we were little. As I remember, the wait staff dressed up in costume. I vaguely remember having Superman as a waiter when I was little.

Hamburger steak and grilled onions with brown gravy paired with homemade Mac N Cheese. Not a box…. But I did cheat with my gravy and use a package (McCormick’s).

That said… some brown gravy got on my Mac N Cheese.

Holy cow.

This might be a permanent add on.

Cheeseburgers from the Big Green Egg, with grilled onions, Stables Sauce, Martha Harp’s brioche buns. Notice to the left of the grill, my mother’s radar range era Corningware used to let the burgers rest. Also, the Stables Sauce primary ingredients.

Poppyseed chicken last night. Actually used a recipe… I’ve cooked it from memory for so long… I have no idea how long I’ve not been doing sour cream in the ingredients.i know I used to. At some point I just forgot it.

Anyway, I use a rotisserie chicken and debone the thing, using all of that meat.
