Vestibular rehabilitation therapy (VRT), often referred to as vestibular training, is a specialized form of physical therapy designed to address dizziness, balance issues, and other vestibular disorders.

It uses exercises to retrain the brain and improve the vestibular system's ability to regulate balance and coordination.

If you're an athlete or play sports for fun, getting sidelined from a knee injury can be really frustrating and scary.

Once your doctor has given an official diagnosis to your knee injury, the next step may or may not include surgery. Or you might jump right into physical therapy if no surgery is needed.

At our licensed physical therapists can help get you back in the game. Depending on what kind of knee rehab you need, we utilize a combination of manual therapy techniques; mobility, strength building, and corrective exercise; neuromuscular re-education; and a variety of therapeutic modalities.

Meet our owner, Meghan Tierney Lash!

Meghan has worked in the field of outpatient physical therapy for over fifteen years. She is a skilled manual therapist who stresses postural and activity modification as well as overall fitness. She is also a former ballet dancer, athlete, and coach with her own history of orthopaedic injuries, which led her to the field of physical therapy.

She attended Duquesne University where she earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Health Sciences and a Master of Physical Therapy. She furthered her clinical education with manual training in the Maitland-Australian technique and also achieved her Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist certification through the APTA. Most recently Meghan has furthered her training in treating pelvic floor dysfunction for both men and women through Herman and Wallace.

Meghan lives in Center City with her husband, Scott, and young son, Hudson. They look forward to introducing Hudson to all of the things they enjoy in the city – trying out new restaurants, listening to live music, and taking in the many events Philadelphia has to offer. Meghan stays active with yoga and Pilates, and keeps promising herself she will get back to running one of these days.
