The American Dental Association and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention state that ALL dental care is essential health care and should be continued. Patients and staff supported my office during the best of times, so I will be there for them in difficult times. Regular dental care is important as well as prevention of dental disease.
We are, and have always, taken proactive steps to keep our patients and staff safe. We are always adding new safety features, enhancing sanitization practices, barriers and HEPA air filters, patient screening forms, digital thermometers, pulse and blood oxygen saturation monitors, minimal waiting room crowding, and increased patient treatment time.
Enforcement of these steps are for everyone’s protection.
I received the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine on December 28, 2020. My office not only cares for patients, but also cares ABOUT them.

My office has been, and will continue to be available for dental emergency visits. While maintaining all of my staff, we have been assisting our patients, as well as, helping collegues patients with their emergencies while their offices remain closed.
My office will continue its consistant and up-to-date infection control precautions as a routine part of my dental practice. My office will continue to comply with public health guidelines recommended by the ADA, CDC, DPH, and OSHA. Additional barrier techniques have been added to keep patients and staff safe such as: N95 and KN95 masks, face shields, booties, and gowns.
In addition to the already pre-exisiting HEPA filter, several additional HEPA filtering units have been placed throughout the office removing viral and other airborne particles.
Every patient will be screened verbally and with written consent. Forehead thermometer temperature readings will be taken and a pre-rinse of antimicrobial mouthwash used. Reading materials and pamphlets have been removed, so I ask you bring your own during dental care. If patients do not have masks, my office will provide them with one.
