Well, after 32 years, I have been relieved of my duties at Mountain View Manor. I am sad; I will miss the residents and the staff but it has not been the same since 4/01/2025. I am not a fan of diversicare and clearly, they are not a fan of me.
I was the 5th person fired. They fired the ladies that watch the front desk and answer the phone and the van driver who was AWESOME! Shoutout to Kobe Stephenson.
To be honest, I did offer my resignation, in an angry response to being asked for an end of month report that i had no information for, on Monday and told why. There are only so many zoom meetings(one consistently during my lunch),emails and reports you can do in a day. Trying to juggle the bookkeeper /BOM position , trying to help with admissions , trying to help with the annual survey response, just trying to help. Both local administrators declined my resignation. But diversicare insistedq So here I am.
I will be forever grateful to Southeastern Health Facilities and M/K management for 32 years. My kids basically grew up in that facility, volunteered there, had their first jobs there and grew to love it.
It’s very hard to say goodbye. 💔
