The Glass House Retreat is a place I invite you to come relax, recharge, and regroup; where I expect you will heal with humor. It is a place where your dreams can begin to come true. Why the name, The Glass House Retreat? Over the years I realized "my house" was pretty fragile and as a result, if I were to throw a rock at someone else's house, mine would probably shatter in a second. My intention is that everyone who enters it will feel safe, happy, peaceful and loved. With no chance of shattered glass. I look forward to welcoming you! I will create the perfect retreat for you and seven of your friends. Or, perhaps I will bring together a group of up to eight people to retreat together. Trust me, everyone will leave as friends. I am blessed to know a superb group of amazingly talented women; healers, therapists, Reiki practitioners, psychics, artists, writers, dancers, yogis...the list is endless.

Amidst all the horror there will always be e pockets of joy. This is one of those moments that is profoundly beautiful. 🩷

STANDING OVATION. 👏🏻

Free speech. These are my thoughts right now, but I’m also hungry and have not eaten dinner.
If you were elected to any office, do something.
Free the people.
Release the files.
Abolish bloated, wasteful departments.
For example.

I hold her in the highest regard.🩷

I’m posting this even though it’s 4 minutes long because I want us all to see what real courage, patriotism, and love for fellow man actually looks like. This is Stella Carson, the woman who stood right next to Alex Pretti as ICE assassinated him. She filmed the entire thing even though it put her at extreme risk. Every word she says is remarkable, but perhaps the most shocking thing about the entire segment is that she has not been contacted by anyone in the government yet. Not the FBI, not the DOJ, no one.

Why? Because the Trump administration wants to cover up what happened and she represents the truth.

Future Medal of Honor recipient right here. Thank you, Ms. Carson. I can only pray that if the moment were to come, I would be half as brave as you were when it counted.

I love Nana.

I keep thinking about neighbors.

In Luke 10, Jesus was asked, “Who is my neighbor?”
His answer wasn’t about proximity, citizenship, or politics.
It was about mercy. About responsibility. About showing up for another human being.

What’s happening in Minnesota isn’t abstract.
It’s happening to people with porches and coffee mugs and families.
People who are someone’s neighbor.

Goodness and beauty demand justice. 🖤

Beautiful. 🥲

It’s working.

In the face of horrific violence, Minnesotans have stayed grounded, stayed strong, and stayed peaceful.

We are protecting our co-workers, our neighbors, and our friends. We are exercising our constitutional rights to observe and protest. We are hiding out when we need to, and standing up every way we can.

And it’s working.

A flurry of orders today show the administration is in retreat. Greg Bovino is being put out to pasture. ICE had to take over military facilities because its agents can’t sleep at hotels here. Trump suddenly doesn’t want to be associated with his own operation.

It’s working. But it’s not over yet.

So we’ll keep singing, keep grieving, keep showing up for each other.

And we’ll raise our voices to say: ICE out of our communities. ICE out of our state. ICE out of existence.

song lyrics based on a poem by

every one
oh every one
oh every one
of these people are ours
just like we
are theirs
we belong to them
and they belong to us

Yes. You can change your mind at ANY point in your life. 🩷

He spent decades bringing the religious right to power. Now he’s marching to undo it.

“Being here, in solidarity, is part of the repair work in my own soul,” says Rev. Rob Schenck, an Evangelical minister who spent decades helping build America’s Religious Right—commingling church and state to advance conservative causes like the anti-abortion movement.

Now, he says he must confront the damage he helped cause, including what he believes was his role in delivering “the entities that are now inflicting all of this suffering on so many people.” One example: Schenck’s organization, Faith and Action in the Nation’s Capital, created “Operation Higher Court,” which trained wealthy couples as “stealth missionaries” to befriend Supreme Court justices to preserve, in his words, a Christian nation.

“So now I have to do the work of repair,” he told Mother Jones digital producer .vp in the icy streets of Minneapolis on Friday during the city’s “Day of Truth and Freedom”—a citywide strike and march in which clergy played a prominent role.

“These folks are showing more grace in accepting me than I would have ever extended to them,” Schenck says, flanked by organizers shouting, “Whose streets? Our streets!”The next day, after learning of federal agents shooting and killing Alex Pretti, Schenck extended his stay in the city. More from his journey, and the clergy’s fight against ICE, coming soon.

“This is redemption,” he told Sam. “This is redemption.”

Be a helper.

Don’t obey in advance. Stand up and stand out. Believe your eyes. Contribute to the cause. Be as courageous as you can. Help your neighbors.

Honor Alex, Renée and all our fallen helpers.
