Why the name, The Glass House Retreat? Over the years I realized "my house" was pretty fragile and as a result, if I were to throw a rock at someone else's house, mine would probably shatter in a second. My intention is that everyone who enters it will feel safe, happy, peaceful and loved. With no chance of shattered glass. I look forward to welcoming you! I will create the perfect retreat for you and seven of your friends. Or, perhaps I will bring together a group of up to eight people to retreat together. Trust me, everyone will leave as friends. I am blessed to know a superb group of amazingly talented women; healers, therapists, Reiki practitioners, psychics, artists, writers, dancers, yogis...the list is endless.

Finally. A newspaper with courage.

This is not hyperbole anymore. It’s a warning.

When Lawrence O’Donnell read the words of the New York Daily News, it landed with the force of something America has been refusing to say out loud for too long: what we are witnessing is not a presidency. It is a criminal operation wearing the skin of government.

A system that lies constantly because the truth would expose it.
A system that steals from the public to reward loyalty and punish dissent.
A system that extorts silence, crushes oversight, and weaponizes power to protect itself.

That is not governance. That is organized crime.

We are told to lower the temperature. To be civil. To treat this like normal politics. But nothing about this is normal. When the authority of the state is used to shield corruption instead of enforce the law, democracy is already in free fall.

This is how republics die. Not all at once, but under the weight of excuses, cowardice, and people pretending they don’t see what’s right in front of them.

Calling this what it is isn’t extreme. Looking away is.

If Al Capone had access to the Justice Department, federal agencies, and a cult of obedience, we would never call it “policy disagreements.” We would call it exactly what it is.

And yet here we are, still debating tone instead of confronting the truth about Donald Trump.

History won’t ask whether we were polite.
It will ask whether we were honest.
