I haven’t posted anything lately. Honestly, the world feels noisy. Really noisy. Sometimes it feels more aligned to be silent. I’ve always felt safer in the quiet. I like to hear myself think. I like to process slowly and talk with the Lord as I do it. And I am a SLOW processor, which feels very counter productive at times, but It’s not. My pace is not the same as other’s and that’s okay. Whenever I feel the noise is too much, I get quite on here. I’ve never been that loud here anyway. The point is, it’s ok to be quiet. Silence is a good thing. Silence reveals A LOT of things. The world could use a little more silence. These days, we have to create it intentionally. Try adding a little more silence to your day and see what happens. No social media, no tv, no music, just you and your thoughts. See what happens.

Today I learned that sometimes we have to change our perspective of success. It doesn’t always look like we thought it would. I had an expectation for my son today that worked out way differently than it played out in my head. Yet, I realized for him, it was a huge success. This is why celebrating the tiny wins is just as important than celebrating the big wins. It encourages us, helps us stay focused, and builds resilience and persistence. So, remember to acknowledge the little things—they matter. And remember to release the expectations that weren’t met. It doesn’t mean the outcome was bad, it was just different. This is surrender.

One simple, grounding tool I love — especially when emotions or food thoughts feel loud — is this:

✨ Pause and drink a full glass of water.

Before reacting… before reaching for food out of habit or stress… pause, hydrate, and let your nervous system settle.

Then gently ask yourself:

💜 What does my body truly need right now?
💜 What emotion is asking for attention?
💜 God, what are You inviting me into in this moment?

This small pause isn’t about restriction — it’s about redirection. It creates space for awareness, wisdom, and care instead of autopilot.
