National Twin Day!
Last week we celebrated National Twin Day, and we are truly blessed to have twins who give their all to St. Joseph’s Hospital and our community every single day.
Meet Bobbie Messenger and Becky Pullen, two remarkable women whose dedication spans more than four decades of combined service. Bobbie started her STJ career in Dietary and has held several positions with the latest being Enterprise Compliance Auditor and Educator, and Administrative Assistant.
Becky has worked as Unit Secretary in the Emergency Department, Schedular and Secretary for the Oncology Clinic, and Trauma Center.
Bobbie loves being a twin but admits it hasn’t always been easy, especially when the ornery sister occasionally got into trouble (growing up) due to people confusing them on who was who. But let’s not let Bobbie fool us, Becky let us know, they traded places in school a few times so there is a little ornery in both of them. Even today, their likes and dislikes are similar. They are a mirror image of one another. Becky is left-handed and Bobbie is right-handed. They are best friends! We are grateful for Bobbie and Becky. Their dedication, teamwork, and lifelong bond truly reflect the heart of St. Joseph’s Hospital.
