Hello All!
Hoping that 2022 ended and 2023 started with you having a wonderful healthy year! If you are receiving this letter, you are either a current or past patient of Dr. McDonald and we are updating you on the status of the clinic.
Dr. McDonald will be making some significant changes to her practice in 2023 and wanted to send out information as soon as everything was finalized. Our apologies this did not get out sooner, but too many things were still uncertain.
First, Dr McDonald is NOT retiring but the practice will look different.
Starting in January, the office will be open Wednesdays and Thursdays for in person visits. All visits on Mondays and Tuesdays will be virtual appointments, through Elation, the Electronic Medical Record program currently utilized. Appointments will take place via zoom but you don’t need to have the app on your phone or computer. You will click the link and then join meeting. All precautions have been taken by Elation to ensure this is a HIPPA compliant video call.
When calling the office for appointments, please know that Lynn will determine the type of appointment you need and which days work best for us. Obviously, patients needing hormone pellet placement (BioTE.com for details on pellet therapy) will have priority for the in person visits.

Immuna: At the moment, this will still be carried in the office. We are still working on getting it back on Amazon – if you need it and the office is too far away, you can find it on Amazon – search NutraXience and Lentinex – different label but still same product. Sometimes you need to click buying options if it doesn’t give you the add to cart option.
There will be no changes to all traditional pharmacy refills. We request that you contact your pharmacy directly at least 72 hours before you need to pick up your refills.
Billing/Insurance/Accounts Receivable- We have also switched our billing services and have hired a company to manage it all. Charis is our personal billing expert and may be contacting you directly if there are any issues with your claims. Starting within the first 2 months, we hope to be able to allow on line payments as well – more details will come for this as we get that transition established and completed.
Office Location – Dr McDonald has loved her space in Buckley and has been there since January 2002. Prior to that she was in Enumclaw, but as of March 1, 2023 the clinic will be moving to Bonney Lake. The Wed and Thurs appointments, therefore, will be taking place at Henschell Chiropractic Clinic on S. Prairie Road (between Kids Country and Costco Tire), 20119 S Prairie Rd E. Our phone number and fax will remain the same and we will continue to check messages on a regular basis. Dr Henschell’s office staff will not have access to the schedule, so please do not call there to double check or set up appointments.
Communication with Dr. McDonald – Phone calls will always work to leave messages, but remember that Passport (our version of “My Chart” through our office charting program) works the best for HIPAA compliant messages. Emails, although easier to manage and access are not secure and often Dr McDonald may receive them while not at office and will not respond as emails do not keep prompting for a response like the charting program does. If you need help accessing passport, please contact the office.
