Employee of the Month 🎉

Well, Mr. Mark Sechler, you’ve proven yourself to be quite the asset for Heritage House, as you’ve been chosen for Employee of the Month for January! Working as a Kitchen Aide in both our buildings, Mark has been with us for about six months now. He really enjoys having the opportunity to do some cooking and baking for our residents, and he shows how much he cares about them every time they ask for something, and he immediately assures them that he will take care of them. He gets such pleasure from talking to them when he’s in the dining room, listening, joking, even teasing them as he takes care of the tables. He is a very positive person, always making sure everyone is having a good day, and even taking the time to let them know they’re doing a great job.
Mark, now it’s time for us to tell you what a great job YOU are doing! You are so much fun to work with, and we all love it when we hear you laughing. Never change, you are perfect just the way you are, spreading happiness everywhere you go😊

Ah, the holidays are such a fun time, great for bringing out the creativity in all of us! One of our family members provided lots of Christmas decorations for a craft activity for any of our folks with wheelchairs, walkers, or even canes to embellish with the holiday spirit. And “embellish” we did! See the amazing results Here:

Look at these little holiday cuties, all decorated in bells, lights, and bows! They came to see us just the other night to sing some Christmas songs to our residents as they ate supper. They did such a great job singing all the favorites: Jingle Bells, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Silent Night, and many more. We all enjoyed the entertainment and have already invited them to return as soon as they can!

Employee of the Month🎉

Congratulations Jessica, you’ve been chosen for December Employee of the Month! Your great work ethic has not gone unnoticed, so we want to take this opportunity to let you know how much we appreciate you.
Jessica has been back with us for a year now as a Med-Aide in our Assisted Living & Memory Care; our residents were so excited for her return, and so were we! It is a true joy to watch her as she interacts with our residents, caring for their every need with an abundance of patience. Jessica also shines with her competence, reliability, and calm nature. Married to her husband, Jake, they have two children at home, Chyenne and Hayden, and they are the apple of their mama’s eye! When time allows, Jessica and her family like to head out to the great outdoors for camping, hiking, hunting, and mushroom-picking. Whether they are by the water or deep in the woods, they are in their “happy place.”
Jessica, we’re so fortunate to have you here with us and we sincerely hope you know how much we all love you. 😊
