Crawford County Mentors

Crawford County Mentors One year. Four hours a month. A lifetime of impact. The program asks for just one year of commitment, with a minimum of four hours per month spent with a mentee.

The Crawford County Mentors program began as an idea in 2022, when longtime friends, Matt Crall and Jamey Gregory, recognized the need for a structured youth mentorship initiative in the area. With support from the Crawford-Marion ADAMH Board, The Community Foundation for Crawford County, and The Galion Community Foundation, Crawford County Mentors officially launched in May of 2025 when the Board

of Directors convened for the very first time. Crawford County Mentors is built on a simple but powerful belief: when adults invest consistent time in the lives of young people, the benefits ripple outward—impacting not only the youth, but families, neighborhoods, and the county as a whole. Our outreach aims to connect caring, dependable adults with local youth in grades 6–12, fostering positive relationships that strengthen the entire community. Flexible meeting options include after-school, evening, weekend, or school-day sessions.
