🌟 Meet Jennifer, your Buda Facility Administrator 🌟

For Jennifer, “home” has always been about people, purpose, and service.

Born in Ohio and a proud Ohio State fan, Jennifer later spent much of her life moving with the military. As an Army veteran, she carries a deep appreciation for veterans and their families. Her passion for service even led her to run a nonprofit, Dames 4 Dogs, which helped save and relocate more than 500 animals from high-risk shelters.

When she’s not supporting her team or caring for patients, you’ll find Jennifer enjoying live music, riding motorcycles, playing guitar or piano, or spending time with her partner Matt, her son Roman, and their pets—Charlie, Mildred, and a cat charmingly named Cheeseburger 🐾.

Jennifer describes herself in three words:
Dedicated. Compassionate. Driven.
And it shows in everything she does—from creating joyful celebrations in the ER to improving workflows and making sure every staff member feels supported.

“I love caring for the patients of Buda because even with all the growth, this community has held onto its kindness, humility, and close-knit feel.”

Her favorite part of working at Ally Medical ER?
“The support. I can always count on my team, fellow FAs, and everyone at headquarters. Ally Medical ER truly feels like family.”

5 Things You Didn't Know About Your Lungs!🫁

Your lungs work hard every day, but do you know how amazing they really are? Check out these fun facts:

🌳Your lungs have a tree-like system: the trachea splits into bronchi, which branch into bronchioles, ending in tiny air sacs called alveoli.

🎾If you were to spread out all the tiny air sacs in your lungs (alveoli), they would cover an area about the size of a tennis court. That’s a huge amount of space for breathing!

❤️The right lung is larger and has three lobes, while the left lung has two lobes to make room for your heart!

🌬️An adult takes about 20,000 breaths a day. That’s a lot of air for your body!

🤣Laughing and singing help your lungs breathe deeper and take in more oxygen. So, sing your heart out!
