Oh, my! Where did June go?? Here we are in July and about to celebrate Independence Day!
What are some of your favorite things to do to celebrate? Do you have family traditions that you've carried on as an adult with the next generation?

Maybe summer camp is a tradition for you and your family. Think about the various movies about summer camp (The Parent Trap). I just dated myself! 😅

There's a new challenge in town. 😉
This month we're focusing on the basics...Essential oils!

Happy Saturday, Friends! I hope you're having a wonderful weekend!

Yall probably know how much I share and talk about ditching toxins in our homes, right? It all started with our first daughter having headaches from my perfumes, and later from the "wax melts" we began to used. This told me that fragrances were difficult for her; but I was too busy trying to homeschool, and build a different mlm the first time she reacted, so I just stopped wearing perfume. I didn't think that my biodegradable home care products could be an issue. I was wrong. Years later, with the wax melts, I was involved with looking after grands and finishing up schooling with our youngest. When those fragrances gave our daughter headaches, I realized it just wasn't worth using them, but we still had air freshener sprays and I would burn those scented candles. 🤔 Plus, we went to the yearly sale at our favorite soap and lotion store to get a supply of great smelling products to use at the bathroom sink! 😦
It wasn't until I went to a family member's house and heard about Young Living essential oils that I felt like maybe we had found an answer to more than just reactions to fragrances. We found answers to getting toxic chemicals and synthetic fragrances, which disrupt our hormones, out of our home! 🤩 Little did we know the damage that was happening in our bodies which has shown up over the past 5 years. I'm grateful to find natural professionals and solutions to help with these which includes using YL oils and supplements! 👍
We have made several small shifts in product usage over the past 6.5 years that have transformed our health and our home into a healthier environment with no toxic load added to what we already get from outdoors and in other public places. 🙌🥰🎉

Y'all, I've gotten sidetracked with family life activities! I REALLY should have told you about tonight's zoom call because its part of the March challenge we've been doing all month. The Clean Home Challenge has been a great way to virtually clean and declutter areas of our homes together! 🏡🏘🏠
Tonight's zoom call was a Detox Your Home class with lots of info about reasons we just might need to "detox" our homes! This means switching store products for truly clean, plant-based products that you can trust to really be safe and effective- not just "say" they are! You can save money and your health at the same time! 💸👍
