🦟 Dump It, Drain It, Prevent It! πŸ’§β˜€οΈ

As temperatures rise, mosquitoes begin to breed quickly in standing water and it only takes a small amount for them to lay eggs.

Help protect your family and neighborhood by checking your yard every few days and removing stagnant water from:

βœ… Flower pots and plant trays
βœ… Buckets and toys
βœ… Bird baths
βœ… Tarps and pool covers
βœ… Gutters and drains
βœ… Tires or outdoor containers

Mosquitoes can grow and reproduce in just days, increasing the risk of mosquito-borne illnesses. A quick cleanup around your home can make a big difference!

🌿 Take 5 minutes today to empty standing water and stop mosquitoes before they start.

🌷 Spring Clean-Up = Rodent Prevention! 🐭🚫

As the weather warms up, rodents become more active and start looking for food, shelter, and places to nest. One of the easiest ways to keep them away is by cleaning up trash, yard debris, and clutter around your home.

βœ… Pick up litter and fallen branches
βœ… Secure garbage cans with tight lids
βœ… Remove piles of leaves, wood, and outdoor clutter
βœ… Keep pet food and bird seed sealed
βœ… Clean up around sheds, garages, and fences

A cleaner yard helps protect your home, your family, and your neighborhood from unwanted pests. Small actions now can prevent big problems later!

🌱 This spring, take 10 minutes to clear debris and help keep rodents away.

March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month, a time to raise awareness about one of the most common yet highly preventable cancers.

Colorectal cancer often develops silently, with few or no symptoms in its early stages. The good news is that screening can detect precancerous polyps before they turn into cancer, making it one of the most effective tools we have for prevention.

βœ”οΈ Screening is recommended starting at age 45 for most adults.
βœ”οΈ People with a family history or higher risk may need to start earlier.
βœ”οΈ Screening options include colonoscopy, stool-based tests, and other approved methods.

Early detection saves lives. When colorectal cancer is found early, the 5-year survival rate is about 90%.

This month, take a moment to:
β€’ Talk with your healthcare provider about screening
β€’ Encourage loved ones to get screened
β€’ Learn the signs and symptoms

Screening isn’t just detection, it’s prevention.
