🔥 DAY SIXTEEN OF HOT YOGA EXPLAINED:
Tree Pose — Tadasana Variation

This posture brings us back to balance in a grounded, steady way. Tree Pose strengthens the standing leg, improves joint stability, and engages the core while opening the hips. With the hands at heart center and the gaze focused, the body learns to find stillness within movement.

This pose can be challenging for balance and concentration. The foot placement, shifting weight, and subtle movements of the body require patience and awareness. Wobbling is part of the process — it’s where the learning happens.

Why we practice: Tree Pose teaches us how to root down and rise up at the same time. By pressing into the standing foot and lifting through the spine, we build stability, focus, and a sense of calm presence that carries beyond the mat.

RECOVERY ROOM - THURSDAY !!

A warm space designed for restoration, gentle movement, and self-guided recovery.

Whether you want to relax, work individually on a pose, or spend time on mobility using bands, straps, sliders, and tools — this is your place.

Use the infrared warmth to soften the body, release tension, stretch deeply, or simply rest.

Your first visit is free when you attend a yoga or Pilates class.
After that, access the room with a punch pass and stay as long as the room is open during the session.

Move gently.
Restore deeply.
Listen to your body.

🔥 DAY FIFTEEN OF HOT YOGA EXPLAINED:
Standing Separate Leg Intense Stretch — Dandayamana-Bibhaktapada-Paschimottanasana

This deep forward fold strengthens the legs while lengthening the hamstrings, inner thighs, and spine. With the feet grounded wide and the head releasing down, circulation increases to the brain, helping calm the nervous system and draw the focus inward.

This posture can feel intense through the back of the legs and hips. The challenge is to move with patience — keeping length in the spine while allowing the body to soften without forcing depth.

Why we practice: this pose teaches grounding and surrender together. By rooting through the feet, we create space through the spine, building flexibility, clarity, and quiet strength over time.

✨ The BV Health Hub Turns One! ✨

It’s hard to believe we’re celebrating one full year of the BV Health Hub.

What began as a vision for a space where people could move, heal, and reconnect with their bodies has grown into a beautiful community. Over the past year we’ve shared yoga, Pilates, sound baths, workshops, recovery sessions, and so many meaningful moments together.

More than anything, we’ve watched people walk through the doors and find strength, support, and connection.

Thank you to everyone who has practiced, moved, rested, and grown with us this year. Your presence is what makes the Hub so special.

Pyramid Pose — Parsvottanasana

Pyramid Pose is a deep forward fold that builds strength and stability through the legs while lengthening the hamstrings, calves, and spine. With the hips square and the spine reaching forward before folding, the posture encourages alignment, balance, and steady breath.

This pose can feel intense through the back of the legs and hips, especially when flexibility is limited. The challenge is to maintain length in the spine while allowing the body to gradually soften into the stretch.

Why we practice: Pyramid Pose teaches patience and precision. By rooting through the feet and creating length through the spine, the body learns to balance strength with surrender, building flexibility and focus over time.
