A family member visited our facility today for a tour. Coincidentally, our bus had just returned from a Walmart trip with the residents and pulled up as she arrived. She asked the front desk, “Did they just get back from Walmart?” and the front desk confirmed.

When the manager came to offer her a tour, she initially declined, saying, “I just got the answer to my question. You guys had a Walmart trip, and my mom likes that!” The front desk then introduced her to me, and after we discussed a few things, she agreed to a quick tour.

We shared that our residents enjoy regular outings, such as visiting their favorite restaurants, attending school plays, and even taking casino buffet trips. Yes — we do a lot of fun things here at our facility!
