Ilona, our Infection Preventionist, had a birthday blast yesterday! We surprised her during the morning meeting with balloons and donuts. Although we already had a scheduled birthday celebration for everyone, the CNAs insisted on adding a special potluck surprise. The Activity Department was happy to support them and help organize the celebration to make her day even more memorable. 🎉🎂

Today is National Pie Day, and we took the opportunity to upgrade our ice cream social to the next level! 🥧🍨
We served hot, freshly baked apple pie topped with vanilla ice cream—yes, pie à la mode! Everyone enjoyed the perfect combination of warm pie and cold ice cream, finished with a variety of sprinkles and toppings based on our residents’ and staff’s preferences. It was truly a sweet and delightful treat for all!
