“I never thought I would be in this situation—alone with two babies, just trying to keep us safe. When my husband was arrested for hurting me, I had nowhere to go. We stayed in a shelter, then I found a place to live. But now, I can’t afford to stay. Every day, I feel scared, worried, and unsure of what will happen next.

One of my biggest worries? Being able to afford diapers. My babies are only 14 months and 3 months old. They don’t understand what’s happening, but they feel it. When I start running out of diapers, I have to make an awful choice—do I buy food or diapers?”

OMNI has been one of the only places helping families like this through impossible situations. But they can’t do it alone. Families need you. No mother should have to choose between food and diapers.

Please consider donating to OMNI’s Diaper Drive today at omni4all.org/diaper-drive.

We’re grateful to share that OMNI has received a $20,000 grant from Megan Butz Legacy of Hope. 💜

This funding will support school-based counseling in Buffalo Grove, helping students connect with licensed mental health professionals right where they are.

At a time when youth mental health needs are rising, access to care matters more than ever. We’re thankful for partners like Megan Butz Legacy of Hope who are helping expand life-changing support for young people.

“I never thought I’d be a mom at 16. My baby is only two months old, and I want to give him a good life. But every day feels like a struggle. The baby's dad isn’t around because of what he did to me. He hurt me badly, and that’s when OMNI stepped in to help.

Now, I live with my mom, but it doesn’t feel safe. Her boyfriend makes me uncomfortable, and I know I need to leave. I want to learn how to be a good mom and take care of my baby on my own. OMNI is helping me find support and a safe place to go. But I still need help.

One of the hardest things to afford? Diapers. They run out so fast, and I worry about how I’ll keep my baby clean and dry. No mom should have to feel this way.”

OMNI is helping moms like her, but we can’t do it alone. YOU can make a real difference in our community.

Donate to OMNI’s Diaper Drive today at omni4all.org/diaper-drive. A pack of diapers can, literally, change a baby’s life.
