I love salt... crackers, chips… are these your temptations??

Try the Tofu cracker!!
Tofu Crackers

(P1, P2, FS, RR, SS, CC)

Serves 4

1 block extra firm tofu (5/6 firm)

2 TBSP avocado oil

Sea Salt

Paprika

Italian Seasoning spice blend. (or any of your favorite spices you want to experiment with)

Preheat oven to 425

Drain Tofu and pat dry with paper towel

Using a knife slice the block of tofu into very thin slices.

Arrange on an lightly oiled cookie sheet

Brush on a thin coat of oil on both sides of the tofu slice, set on sheet.

Sprinkle with sea salt, paprika and Italian blend

Bake 15 – 17 min depending on how thin

Take out of oven, flip over the squares,

Bake for another 3 minutes until golden brown.

Grilled Buffalo Shrimp over greens, celery and blue cheese crumbles. For the shrimp: thaw, clean and pat dry raw shrimp. Make basting sauce: 1 part Franks Red Hot Sauce and 1 part avocado oil, stir well till combined. Note: You do not want to marinate the shrimp with the Buffalo Sauce, just baste on grill. Enjoy!

Understand the correlation between food & thyroid disorder

Thyroid disorders are increasing at a rapid rate and often they are accompanied by frustrating symptoms. The most common symptoms being fatigue, brain fog, constipation, weight issues, hair issues.

Foods Hurting Your Thyroid

There are certain foods that can harm your thyroid and it’s best to avoid them. The reason being these foods are pro-inflammatory and causes an inflammatory reaction in your body when they’re consumed.

1) Gluten
2) Dairy
3) Processed Meat
4) Soy
5) Sugary Foods
6) Fried Fatty Foods

New research shows the underlying cause of the disorder is inflammation. This inflammation causes the destruction of your thyroid gland and that’s the reason people ultimately develop low thyroid issues.
