The spiritual path can feel extremely lonely at times.

You light your candles, create your sacred space, and do your solo rituals. It serves it purpose - there’s a time and place for that.

There’s a time and place for community, too. This seems to be a missing link for many, myself included.

People are in deep need of it, so I hold monthly space with like-minded individuals 💜

If you’re seeking community with fellow energy workers and those on the spiritual healer’s path, you’re not alone!

I invite you to join us for our monthly reiki share gathering. No reiki experience necessary.

What a gorgeous fall day here in WNY.

Spent time soaking up the breeze making wind chime music, the birds chirping, and the crunch of leaves - the primordial sounds of fall🍁

I spent some time pondering & musing:

🍁Where am I on my letting go journey?

Fall is a time where nature shows us how easeful it can be to let go of the old. And that it’s NATURAL to have endings.

That there is beauty in the letting go.

Recently, I’ve come to know that it’s ok to let go of my past plans, timelines and goals. No more guilt.

Some of my goals were made by a different version of me- they’ve run their course. Or, ironically, held me back. I set some strict weekly deadlines for my podcast, for instance, and it didn’t account for the state of LIFE. I was starting to beat myself up for “missing” a week of publishing.

Realized I was putting the same damn pressures on myself that previous employers did. I was jailing myself!

🙄🤦‍♀️

There’s been a beauty in this realization- that the pushing myself to perform and produce- well, turns out that’s not ME at all. It’s 41 years of outside programming. So it’s time for that nonsense to fall away.

There’s beauty in this breakdown - looking forward to finding out who I am and how I flow underneath it all.

🔥Learning to tolerate feeling uncomfortable emotions is what kickstarted my people pleaser healing journey.

Because then -

I was able to tolerate the tension of OTHER people’s emotions making me feel uncomfortable when I said things like “no thank, “this isn’t for me”, or “I changed my mind”.

🔑Hold space for yourself first. Practice with your own emotions to build up the ability tolerate it when people respond to you with uncomfortable emotions.

💾 Save this as a reminder the next time you’re feeling anxious about saying no or changing your mind about something.
